For past few days I got opportunity to get involved with Brave community, and have been testing some of the amazing features of new Brave browser. I am learning new things as I am got involved with manual testing of Android version of Brave.
One amazing feature was catching my eyes, and started using it actively.
It is not always possible for us to read the articles at once we see, we prefer to save it and read it later. Some of us are seriously lazy to have different apps for this (apps like pocket is generally used to save articles offline and read later). I used to travel daily half an hour to my office, and I dont have internet when I travel, so I prefer reading. Brave has amazing feature which is more like pocket inside browser itself. Users can save the articles offline and read them later whenever they want.
It is pretty handy and is easy to use. Steps to use are as follows.
- Step 1: Goto the website and then to the article which you want to save offline.
- Step 2: Click on the menu button(which is on the right top)
- Step 3: You will see a button at the middle of 5 buttons (which will have a down arrow above bar , which is more like download symbol), click on the symbol.
- Step 4: You can access the saved article, by checking the Download section in brave or from history.
Small Story how I found this Feature
At first, I was about to check what were downloads I have done, then on click that symbol the page got downloaded. I first prefered to say it as Page got saved so filed a bug at github. Dont forget to share your thoughts and start contributing to brave at github
